Regular Warranty Adjustments

  • We want our products to last you in perfect condition for as long as possible. This is done by regular warranty adjustments, which are paid by the customer. These warranty adjustments are also a condition for granting an extended warranty.
  • The warranty adjustment is ordered by the customer himself via the website www.sulko.cz or by email servis@sulko.cz stating that it is a warranty inspection. The warranty adjustment order is the responsibility of the customer, in case of non-ordering, SULKO is not responsible for the loss of the extended warranty.
  • Our company does not actively address customers on its own, the warranty adjustment order is fully within the customer's competence. If you do not order it, SULKO assumes no liability for the loss of the extended warranty.

  • In order for this to make sense, it is necessary to carry out warranty adjustments regularly, at least once a year. The first year after installation is not necessary, but from the second year it is already. Therefore, if we install your windows in 2025, the first paid warranty adjustment will be due in 2027. It is a good idea to keep an appointment and order the service regularly. There must be no warranty adjustment, otherwise, unfortunately, you lose your entitlement to an extended warranty. But do not worry, you do not lose the standard warranty, they continue to follow the complaint rules and the GTC of the company, valid on the day of signing the contract.

What to watch out for

What falls under warranty adjustment that is a condition for an extended warranty?

  • Adjustment applies to the entire contract. If you have only the individual elements adjusted, the extended warranty does not apply to them.

What happens if the customer disagrees with the price?

  • As soon as the customer orders a warranty adjustment, we will send him a quote for approval. If the customer does not accept it and we do not agree on the warranty adjustment, the warranty is further governed by the complaint rules and the GTC of the company, valid on the day of signing the contract.
  • If the warranty adjustment reveals that it is necessary to replace a part of an element that is no longer available, we will offer the customer another, of the same or similar quality.

We provide a guarantee for the service performed according to the applicable General Terms and Conditions of Complaints SULKO.

How is the installation of windows and doors SULKO carried out?

Installation is carried out by our certified installers who follow the SULKO mounting standards. The process begins with precise aiming, after which we prepare the windows so that they exactly copy the construction opening. During the assembly itself, we pay attention to:

  • Correct installation of the frameto make the window solid and stable

Do I need to disassemble the blinds or window sills myself before installation?

Yes. We work to ensure that household operations are as limited as possible.

Do you need to rearrange the windows after a while?

For large format elements, we recommend this after about 6-12 months. It is a common part of window care.

Does SULKO provide for the disposal of old windows?

Yes, if this service is part of your contract, we will take care of the complete dismantling as well as the ecological disposal of old windows. You do not have to deal with transportation or handling — we will ensure everything for you so that the exchange is convenient and worry-free for you.

How do I prepare for the arrival of the assembly team?

It is enough to free access to the windows and protect the furniture from dust. The rest will be provided by us — protection of space, handling and removal of old elements.

How do you handle the transportation of large elements, such as HS portals?

We use special handling techniques (suction cups, manipulators, cranes...). The customer doesn't care about anything.

How is the transport of SULKO windows ensured?

How long does assembly usually take?

It depends on the scope of the order. We manage the normal replacement of windows in the family house in 1-2 days. We will inform you in advance about the exact time.

How many people are coming and what should I prepare?

A team usually has 2—4 technicals. It is enough to allow access to the rooms where the exchange takes place.

How to care for new windows?

Regular cleaning of frames, lubrication of fittings 1-2 times a year and checking the seals are sufficient. You can get a simple manual from us, or download it here: Operating and Maintenance Manual

What effect does mounting have on thermal insulation?

It's fundamental. Even a top-end window can lose up to 25-30% of its parameters with poor installation. Therefore, we assemble everything according to ČSN 74 6077.

Slightly yes -- this is standard construction work. However, we work cleanly, use covering materials and clean up when finished.
