Family house in Miroslav impresses with a distinctive Glazed shieldwhich opens the interior to light and forms the dominant architectural element of the whole house. The owners built with their own help and wanted to really care about the choice of windows. On the recommendation of their architect from atelierbecica.cz, they turned to SULKO because they needed a solution that could handle both ordinary windows and large-format elements with high demands on strength and thermal comfort.

After carefully comparing the options, they chose the combination Composite windows for standard dimensions and Aluminum structures for the gable wall. Its implementation was the most difficult moment of the entire construction — it was a large glazing weighing almost one ton, which had to be installed safely eight meters above the ground. However, the assembly went smoothly and on the first attempt.

The gable wall is fitted Insulating triple glazing with special treatmentwhich meets the increased safety requirements of large panes and helps to minimize overheating of the interior during the summer months. The selection of suitable glazing was part of the preparation for the NZÚ subsidy, and therefore a personal consultation with the glass supplier took place.

The result is a house that feels airy, modern and timeless. SULKO windows bring in a large amount of light, retain heat and co-create the character of the whole space.
