Cleaning

The plastic parts of the windows are easy to clean thanks to the smooth surface.

Cleaning

Frames and sashes of both plastic and aluminum windows and doors have a smooth surface that is easy to clean and maintain. Remove normal dirt from dust or rain with mild detergents or detergent and warm water, using a soft cloth.

Materials containing abrasives, sand or rough particles are unsuitable — they can permanently scratch the surface. Clean contamination during assembly or operation (e.g. grease from fittings) with conventional cleaning products without aggressive ingredients.

To clean must not use gasoline, diluents, intranasols, acids, chlorine, SAVOY or other aggressive products — they can damage the surface of the frames, disrupt the protective layers and cause corrosion of fittings.
Clean ornamental stained glass in door fillers only lukewarm water without detergent.

A few useful tips

  • Clean the insulating glass with ordinary means for washing windows.
  • Remove fingerprints and grease with detergent.
  • Do not allow mortar, cement, lime, rust, etc. to dry — remove them immediately with more water.
  • Do not use hard and sharp tools, abrasive cleaners, acids, fluorine or other aggressive chemicals.
  • Glass does not protect against flying particles during grinding or welding — it could be permanently damaged.
  • If you are not sure about the choice of means, please contact our service department.
